Purpose of the Platform
Sphere is a digital ecosystem to connect people: a professional social network with an integrated marketplace. The marketplace is part of Sphere and does not constitute an independent brand.
Sphere Acts as an Intermediary
Sphere is a technology intermediary. It facilitates the platform that connects buyers and sellers, but does not sell its own products, does not store goods, does not hold inventory and does not manage delivery.
The marketplace operates under a consignment model: the seller retains full ownership and possession of the goods at all times, and assumes entirely the shipping, delivery, packaging and compliance of the product.
The purchase and sale contract is concluded directly between the buyer and the seller. Sphere is not a party to such contract and does not assume any obligations arising from it.
Administrative Authorizations
In accordance with the terms of its license, the company must obtain the required authorizations from the competent authorities of the United Arab Emirates when necessary for a specific activity.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The company's activities are governed by the regulations of the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority (RAKEZ) and, subsidiarily, by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.
The processing of personal data is governed by the United Arab Emirates Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law 45/2021).
Any dispute relating to the platform will be subject to the competent courts of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
Intellectual Property
The Sphere brand, its logos, designs, texts, code and other elements of the platform belong to C and C Global Commerce FZ-LLC or its licensors, and are protected by the applicable intellectual property and industrial property regulations.
